Multi-day Strategic Retreats

Sample Facilitation Tools

  • Embodied games and activities, derived from Theater of the Oppressed, to break out of normal patterns and invite in new ideas

  • Anti-oppression facilitation including progressive stack and opportunities for input for different learning types

  • Brief trainings to equip your team with the ability to assess, name, and address equity implications

  • Campaign planning exercises including: power mapping, Spectrum of Allies analysis, developing campaign timelines, and campaign escalation arcs

  • Sociocratic rounds to ensure all voices are heard before making a critical decision

  • Incisive reflection prompts and structured activities to evaluate what’s working, what’s not, and what adjustments can be made

  • Generative brainstorms to expand the range of what’s possible and winnowing options using tools such as dot prioritization, physical spectrum, and consensus or voting models

  • Dedicated structures for practicing delivering and receiving pertinent feedback directly and caringly

Confluence Facilitation offers our services at an hourly rate based on the budget size of the organizations we work with. We do this to ensure that outside facilitation is accessible to even the smallest, newest, and least-funded grassroots groups.
